The T65/T91 family are said to be the "HK416 before it was cool", just as reliable, accurate and had more service time around the world than the HK416 before the 2010's. The internal of the T91, however is different from the HK416/G36 type of piston. Later on, the Colt LE1022 actually has a short-stroke piston that resembles the T91system (although the Colt system was developed after the T91). Despite it being lesser known, the T91 - T65 systems preserve the AR15's accuracy while integrating a seeming as-reliable gas piston as the HK416, and boasts multi-decade service record around the world.
