As an AK400 prototype derivative, the current issued AK12 has a lot of questionable "advancements". On paper, it packs a lot of futuristic features, but is the weapon designed for use with corrosive ammunition in the Russian inventory? Does the dust cover really retain zero? Is it optimized for mechanized warfare? While it took us a while to work on this video, an interesting note to keep in mind that @BrandonHerrera and @PolenarTactical also worked on the AK12 on one of the same weekends that we did (despite not knowing so), and we all came out with a shockingly similar conclusion: the AK12... is inferior to the modernized AK74 / AK74m.
