In the 30 years the AK105 has been around, it has mostly been seen with a plethora of aftermarket upgrades on it for Spetsnaz (special forces) use by Russian SOF troops, but rarely is it seen in it's OEM factory form... outside of the popular game "Escape from Tarkov". So how capable of a rifle is the AK105? How much better does it fare when compared to the much shorter AKs74u? (remember the AKs74u had a lot of trouble past 200m with a very short barrel!) How does the AK105 compare to the longer AK74? We find out. *****Special thanks and cameo by Zach, lead gunsmith under @BrandonHerrera at the AK Guy Inc. Thank you! As with many of the weapons we've featured in this series, this week's firearm is a conversion of vast stocks of obsoleted percussion cap Adams Revolvers in order to give them a new lease of life into the second half of the 19th century.
