Official WW1-era British Magazine Doc...
Contrary to popular belief, the official WW1 doctrine of use of the .303" Lee-Enfield SMLE magazine wasn't to stuff it full to bursting. Bet most people on active service did though, despite what the Musketry Regulations 1909 said.
