Much like it's predecessor, the FR-F2 was incredibly well-balanced, light weight and sufficiently accurate, but it had advancements in two major ways: 1, A new fore end with a thermal jacket free-floated hand guard in preparation for conflicts with thermal imaging devices. 2, A new caliber, 7.62x51mm NATO. These signified a further modernization of the French Armed Forces, but also an out-reaching, more internationally aligned military instead of the traditionally isolated military of the French Republic. So how does the FR-F2 perform? We find out.
