Out of the 2221 men on the Bismarck, only 115 survived, 110 were captured by the British and only a mere 5 were rescued by the Germans. This video covers the witness reports of one these 5 men, which I found in the archives. He was an anti-aircraft gun crew man. His report includes the Battle of the Denmark Strait between the Bismarck and Prinz Eugen versus HMS Hood and HMS Prince of Wales. As well as the air attacks by HMS Victorious and Ark Royal. Finally, the last hours of the Bismarck and being rescued by U-74.
