Russia / USSR

The Bloke takes his Hungarian Mosin-Nagant PU sniper out to 300m, and shares his experiences on working with the piece in question. This rifle is identical to the WW2 Russian / Soviet sniper rifles, and actually working with them in a vaguely "precision" environment shows up some of the drawbacks of rifles and optics of that era, many of which are not unique to the Mosin - coarse adjustments without clicks on the telescopic sights, non-modern standards of accuracy, and so on. Also, it turns out that S&B 7.62x54R ammo is way better than PPU Prvi Partizan. Who knew?
