Take note that we are not judging this as a duty SMG, but rather as a vehicle PDW, especially useful in high vehicle-crime areas, and vehicle-based law enforcement units, motorcycle units, and concealment foot patrols. The Vector's Super-V system redirects the recoil sensation downwards to mitigate recoil, HOWEVER that's not as simple as it's said, as recoil ends up somewhere... While video games such as the Division, PUBG, and Call of Duty continue to show extreme interest (likely due to it's unconventional appearance), how close did they get it? Looking back, the Vector has been around since the mid 2000's and marketed as an SMG to revolutionize the LE demand for a new CQB firearm. However, with the rise of short barreled rifles and carbines, the US market turned away from the pistol caliber SMG... but what does that say about the Vector? It's unfortunate that the current firearms reviews continue to only see the firearm as a range toy, to mag dump 10mm into watermelons. We see a much better application with the 9mm version as a PDW.
