One-Man Bunkers - Germany's Pulowski Preservation Shelter (Fallout)?
14m
A look at German one-man bunkers (Einmannbunker) or one-man preservation shelters from the Second World War. Many of you probably know them from the computer game series Fallout. Yet, these things were around for a lot longer. In this video, I will talk mostly about German WW2 variants. Look at footage from the Militärhistorisches Museum der Bundeswehr Dresden and the Ostwall. We will look at both metal and concrete shelters, various guidelines and regulations as well. Disclaimer: Thank you to the Militärhistorisches Museum der Bundeswehr Dresden for inviting me in November 2019.
